MissionNECEPT's primary mission is to facilitate implementation and validation of the results of the Strategic Highway Research Program (SHRP) by promoting partnering between governmental agencies, industry (including materials, suppliers, contractors and consultants) and universities throughout the Northeast. The Center is funded primarily by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA). Added support is received from industry and the Pennsylvania Asphalt Paving Association (PAPA).
